Boy bending over and picking up an Urn
First third of the XVII century. Not on display
This drawing depicts a boy bending over while holding a jug with both hands.
It is probably a preparatory drawing for a version of Wedding at Cana, although there is no documentary evidence proving that Cajés painted this subject.
Sánchez Cantón and Wethey attributed it to Carreño.
