Kneeling Monk (Saint Anthony?)
XVIII century.Not on display
The monk is depicted kneeling in profile to the left in a pose of adoration. His gaze appears raised, his right arm extended and his left across his chest. The technique upholds the characteristics of the 17th-century Madrid school in which Calleja was trained.
