Saint Cecilia in Glory / Hand Study

Saint Cecilia half-kneels on clouds, with the palm branch in her right hand and with her left hand outstretched. She is accompanied by child angels carrying a cartouche with the inscription ‘S. Cecilia’. An organ and young musician angels are in glory. There is a landscape background. The composition reflects the style and types of its master, Conrrado Giaquinto. It was drawn in Madrid but had recently arrived from Rome.
