The Judgement of Paris
XVIII century.Not on display
This is a drawing depicting Paris, seated on a rock in profile on the left side of the composition. He is holding out the apple to Venus who appears half-naked in the centre. On the right is Minerva, facing forwards with a helmet and spear; and Juno, in profile, dressed and with a peacock behind her. Next to Paris, Cupid and Mercury are depicted facing forwards and pointing to Venus. The drawing is of a very elongated style, typical of Camarón.
