Virgin and Child, with the Infant St. John the Baptist, accompanied by three standing saints and a kneeling donor
Second half of the XVI century. Not on display
Attributed to Palma Il Giovane (ca. 1548-1628), the drawing has little or nothing to do with this author, although in Turner´s opinion, there are several stylistic features that evoke Boscoli´s hand in an unusual style. These elements of his include the angular simplifications to the face of the saint [St. Anne (?)], standing in the center right, and whose features recall figures in Boscoli´s more typical drawings.
